Q. What is a Domain Name server?
A. The domain name server is a name that is associated with a particular server's IP address. This name (i.e. ns1.scoutnoc.com), points servers all over the internet to the correct server to see your sight. When you type in your browser www.yourdomainname.com the domain name server database tells the system to look at a particular server for the site.
