Q. I am out of disk space, what do I do?

A. You have two options:
Remove some content or upgrade plans

Remove Content:
Go to the cPanel control panel (http://yourdomain.com/cpanel) and utilize the Disk Space Usage tool to determine where all your space is being utilized. This will show all files within your home directory. PLEASE NOTE: This will not show files for your account that are not within your home directory such as MySQL database(s) or Mailman mailing list files and archive files).

Determine what if any content you can remove (most users fill up their mailboxes and/or Mailman mailing list archives).

Utilize the File Manager to delete files as needed. Be careful if you are using a CMS for your site that you do not delete files that run the CMS.

If most of your space is within a mailbox, login to the webmail and delete unneeded messages.

If your Mailman Mailing Lists are set to Archive all messages, disable this option in the admin interface for the list and then submit a support ticket and we can delete the existing archives as they are not accessible to you as they are not in your home directory.

MySQL databases and sizes can be seen within the MySQL Database interface within the cPanel hosting control panel.

Upgrading Your Account
To upgrade your account, login to your account here and choose Manage Hosting Plans. You will see a "U" icon for upgrading and choose the next plan level up to increase your disk space.
